Lucky for you, we have found a hidden gem in the San Antonio area. Jennifer and Ligia, two best friends from Brazil have opened up an online clothing boutique, based out of their studio in Downtown San Antonio. Brazilian Vibes Boutique brings you the latest in Brazilian fashion trends, packed with energetic prints and vivid hues that bring the paradise that is Brazil straight into your wardrobe.
We had the opportunity to sit and chat with the dynamic entrepreneurial team. Here is what they had to say.

KR: Let us begin by introducing yourself and your brand to our readers. What led you to open Brazilian Vibes Boutique?
BVB: Hi, this is Jennifer and my bestie partner Ligia. I am from Maryland, and she is from Sao Paulo, Brazil. I lived in Brazil for almost four years with my Brazilian husband. I fell in love with their Brazilian fashion styles as they are so bold and unique. Ligia and I met at our husbands’ work, and we became instant best friends as our passion for Brazilian fashion trends brought us closer and closer. That is how the boutique idea was born. To provide women in America the opportunity to try a different style encompassed in beauty, confidence, and comfort. We are also passionate about helping small businesses and supporting the people. So many of our products are handmade with love straight from towns in Brazil, and since the very beginning, we wanted to do something that would bless the needy in our community. We are committed to donating to shelters and non-profit organizations in Texas and in Brazil. That means for every purchase you make you are also helping others.
KR: What inspires you to bring each piece into our San Antonio community?
BVB: We were inspired because of all the compliments people were giving us on our style, we saw this as a niche market. San Antonio is full of small businesses, but we saw that there was something missing. So, we thought by bringing Brazilian fashion into the community people would have a chance to buy, wear, and celebrate this culture with us. The bold prints and colors embody happiness, this is what inspires us. We want every woman to feel confident and happy in their beauty with our styles.

KR: How would you describe your ideal Brazilian Vibes Boutique shopper?
BVB: We would describe our shopper as anyone who is looking to spice up their wardrobe from another country and get a taste of Brazilian fashion trends. We offer collections for women who seek to express themselves through vibrant colors, breezy styles, and paradise. We have fashion trends including apparel, accessories, and beachwear that are all made in Brazil. Our Brazilian vibes are perfect for women who want to feel confident, beautiful, and comfortable. Helping each other and helping other small businesses.
KR: I love your mission to help small businesses in Brazil! Why was this so important when creating your store?
BVB: Since the store idea was born in our hearts, we wanted to have a bigger purpose besides just having a profitable business. To support others who are also striving to work hard in their own businesses is something that motivates us to continue even in the challenging moments that we face. Because of this, we feel it is only right to give back as much as we can by donating and supporting these growing businesses. We believe the greatest gift is helping others while inspiring people through fashion and business.

KR: What would you two say is your fashion philosophy? Any advice for those who want to add paradise into their wardrobe?
BVB: There are no two people who are created the same. By respecting your individual personality, body, and lifestyle, we create a personal style that is beautiful, unique, and pleasant to you. This helps you feel confident, authentic, and glowing in your day-to-day life. Bring paradise into your wardrobe by simply being uniquely yourself.
KR: It must be so fun to pick which styles you bring into your store and as best friends I’m sure your styles may differ. How would you describe your individual styles as they come together in Brazilian Vibes Boutique?
BVB: Ligia loves casual comfy styles and dresses, is more a fan of colorful and prints especially floral prints, and I, Jess, love to wear either solid black or leopard print. More feminine tomboy and comfort causal style. Together we bring, what we believe to be, styles to fit any type of woman. Whether you want to be bold, feminine, or comfortable, we’ve got you covered!
